Chelsea has just cancelled out Jackson's supposed €15 million loan move to Bayern Munich. Chelsea phone and requested Jackson to turn back to England after Liam Delap got injured today in the Chelsea Vs Fulham fixture. Delap will be sidelined for 6 - 8 weeks. Could this be a chance for Jackson to prove himself to his club?
Yeah, I think so. I'm not a fan of Jackson, but I think he did well at Chelsea, and I would want him to stay and fight for his shirt. I don't really know the reason the club wanted to get rid of him, but if I were to guess, I would say it's as a result of those silly red cards he picked up that cost them some matches. So, it is his redemption moment, and I hope he makes the best of it. If all goes well, he can even be an important player for the team.
Chelsea signed Jackson to a long-term contract. If I recall correctly, it was supposed to be an eight-year contract. Perhaps they're getting rid of him to save on the hefty fees. Also, while Jackson has had some successful matches, he still has a red card problem. He can't control himself during matches and is very harsh on his opponents. This leaves the team feeling short-handed. Perhaps this is why the manager doesn't want him.
