True.
The biggest mistake in gambling is to think of gambling as a way to get rich, and this is what most new gamblers do. However, there are many people who cannot control their greed and make the same mistake over and over again, even after they have a lot of experience in gambling.

And for this, we are actually responsible. I don't think there should be any other arguments or blaming anyone else. Rather, if we understand at the right time that we need to increase our self-control and limit gambling to entertainment only.
I believe that those who have sufficient experience but still can't control their greed are due to a lack of awareness. They tend to maintain a positive mindset in every gamble, focusing solely on the guaranteed win and ignoring the greater chance of losing.

Even if they realize that gambling is merely entertainment, they won't overdo it. Furthermore, once they have sufficient experience, they should be able to view gambling as merely entertainment, not as a means to wealth.
I can tell you that there are alot of well experienced gamblers today who view gambling, both online and offline, not as any means of entertainment but solely as a means for them to make money, this type of gamblers treat gambling as a serious business and this is how we usually see some of them that are particularly interested in playing lotto or pool, we see some of them sitting in the game shop, searching through a large paper which contains all the numbers that previously won, from this, they will try to forecast what number will play in the present and future, they can spend their entire day doing this.

But personally, I would say that the sooner a person realizes and only treat gambling as a fun venture, the better their life becomes, except if the person is already rich before he or she started gambling.
