As for me, I wouldn’t say that they played poorly yesterday, but the truth is that they did not perform as well as many had expected. This is because our expectations were so high toward them, based on their recent matches and the kind of results we had gotten so far.
So, yesterday, I was expecting Galatasaray to find the match easy to win, score many goals, and also keep a clean sheet based on the fact that Rizespor is not up to their standard in any aspect. But still, they tried; they scored three goals and secured the three points.
What I’ve come to understand about football is that things don’t always go as easily as people expect with some strong teams.. That’s because every team has its own tactics, and with that, no matter how weak a team may seem, with good tactics they can make it hard for the stronger teams.So, teams are not the same, and people should not expect the same level of performance from Galatasaray in every match.
