OP is totally confusing, and I think I am not alone in being confused. It's not six point two seven four Bitcoin, but the amount is six thousand two hundred seventy four. So instead of writing 6.274, you could simply write 6274, or 6,274 Bitcoin. There is a difference between 6.274 and 6,274. I was totally confused and I think other people was confused as well.
Now back to the point. Regardless of why they did it, it is always better to move your Bitcoin to more and more Bitcoin wallets to minimise the risk. If one of your wallet ever get hacked, you will lose part of your portfolio. But if you keep them all in one wallet, you might lose everything. So, I would say they did well by moving the coins. Nothing to be worry about.
