What Will Define Bitcoin’s Future Role?

When we talk about Bitcoin, two major perspectives usually come up:

1. Bitcoin as Digital Gold:
Many people see Bitcoin as a long-term store of value, similar to gold. Its limited supply of 21 million coins makes it scarce, and that scarcity could strengthen its role as “digital gold” in the financial world.

2. Bitcoin as a Payment Network:
Others believe that Bitcoin’s true potential lies in being a decentralized payment system. It enables borderless, censorship-resistant transactions that traditional banks cannot offer.

Now the real question is:
👉 In the long run, will Bitcoin be known more as a “store of value” like gold, or as a “global payment system”?
👉 Or can it successfully serve both roles at the same time?

I would love to hear everyone’s opinion on this.
