Today Zimbabwe are batting first and the openers Brian Bennett and Ben Curran are looking confident and committed to play a long innings. Ben Curran has made 28 runs and is dominating the innings. The good thing is that Zimbabwe didn't lose any wickets till now and this could be advantageous to them when they reach the depth overs and have wickets in hand.

In the last match both teams scored near 300 runs so Zimbabwe should know this at the back of their mind and focus on getting to 325+ runs to be on the safe side when then come to bowl.

Zimbabwe was very close to victory in yesterday match, 10 runs were needed in last over but Zimbabwe lost 3 wickets and scored only 2 runs in last over. Dilshan Madushanka was man of the match in yesterday game because of his hat trick in last over that denied Zimbabwe of victory.

Zimbabwe is doing better then what they have done in last series with New Zealand and South Africa. In 2nd ODI, Zimbabwe score is 150 for the loss of 2 wickets after 31 overs. Ben Curran is not out on 79 runs and Zimbabwe must try to score over 280 runs to win the game. Sri Lankan bowlers are not able to pick wickets after 31 overs of the game.
