Pakistan won the toss and elected to batting first. Pakistan won the match and showed great performance. Pakistan won game by 31 runs. Pakistan set a record total runs for 207 and won the match. UAE chased a record total runs for 176 and lost the match. The best batting performance in the Pakistan was by Saim Ayub scored 69 runs 38 balls hitting 7 fours and 4 sixs. In both matches Pakistan batters displayed very strong strength and both matches Pakistan squad won by setting big scores. In second match, Pakistan squad was begun match first with batting inning and batters managed to collect 207 scores after playing 20 overs. In previous match, Pakistan batters collected 182 scores as a defending and this was also good as nd winning scores. There seems to be a big improvement in the performance of the Pakistan team. The improvement cannot be judged so quickly because the two teams United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan participate in the Tri-series they are weaker than the Pakistan team. Though Afghanistan is weak, they can compete well in big competitions even if they cannot win the trophy.
