Before the season started i was seeing Manchester City as title contenders but after watching their match against Tottenham last week where they lost and also watching them lose against Brighton today, i do not see them as title contenders anymore. Pep Guardiola's era is ended and from how the team performed today, they don't have that driving force for victories. Brighton's win was not born out of luck, it was a complete efforts from the team that got them the win because coming from a goal behind and winning a game cannot be considered as luck, if Brighton's players were reluctant when they were losing by one goal do you think that Manchester City wouldn't have scored another goal.
It's early days in this season just because of these things are not as expected big teams are facing problems Manchester City conceded 4 goals in 2 games with able to score just 1 goal is terrible from them. This defeat is surely setback because with this now their confidence level is almost at lowest level, but good thing now Premier League is having break, and they can think about their future strategy which will allow them to bounce back from this bad period.
Today in another game, West Ham also fights back handed big defeat to home team Nottingham Forest which is surprising currently the biggest game of Super Sunday underway Liverpool hosting Arsenal after 30 minutes nothing happen.
