Average middle tier team in Ligue 1 against a team that has basically no contenders there that was unbeaten in 30 matches last season.
Ligue 1 is just broken, I don't think there's one so unbalanced in the top ones, even Bayern doesn't have such an easy run like PSG does, probably the only comparison would be Ajax a decade ago.

So, I wanted to say this; maybe the league had lost its credibility a long time ago and, just like you said, there are no major contenders of the local league trophy against PSG. 16th of September is the date... Any team that qualified, but still has the guts that they can keep the trophy should show up with the only requirement -- quality game plan and plenty goals.
