Bitcoin was designed to be censorship-resistant, but governments still have power to regulate exchanges, restrict banks, and control internet infrastructure.

It makes me think:

If several major countries coordinated a strict ban, would Bitcoin transactions still remain strong through peer-to-peer networks?

Could users shift more toward decentralized exchanges and privacy tools if regulations become too harsh?

Or would such actions simply push Bitcoin underground, similar to how some banned technologies still survive?

👉 I am curious about the community’s thoughts — would Bitcoin survive and adapt under a global ban scenario, or would adoption slow down significantly?
Adoption will definitely slow down significantly but bitcoin will still survive under a global ban, but then, you and I know well that a global ban on bitcoin isn't going to happen, not when some countries have already adopted bitcoin and little by little, it's getting integrated into their financial system.

But let's assume that global ban is possible and does happen, with the level popularity bitcoin has achieved over the years, price may  drop significantly to later rise again, but a lot of people will turn to using bitcoin in a decentralized manner, afterall, this was Satoshi's main vision for bitcoin,I never saw and read any where he wrote about government adopting bitcoin and making it a global currency, bitcoin was created to serve as an alternative to the government controlled fiat, where users and holders of fiat could shift to bitcoin to gain freedom from the government and banks who through fiat gain control over the people and manipulate them, using bitcoin in a decentralized manner has always been the goal.
