The Bitcoin market is always volatile and those who have managed to avoid this volatility for the long term have achieved success, and those who can maintain this continuity in the future can certainly achieve good success.
As an investor is it really possible to avoid volatility since we all know that volatility is an integral part of the bitcoin market? So I am wondering how can someone avoid volatility for the long term? What you said here is totally wrong in my perspective. Do I need remind you that volatility is the upward and downward movement of bitcoin price over time. So how do you avoid bitcoin price volatility when you have bitcoin in your portfolio and still be successful?
Note: I am just a newbie trying to learn new things every day.
It's impossible for anyone to avoid bitcoin volatility because that's the nature of bitcoin. However, when it comes to investing in bitcoin, long term approach is the best due to bitcoin volatile nature. If you have looked at the price history of bitcoin, you will notice that the price of bitcoin has being increasing overtime and that shows that if you invest into bitcoin and hodli for long, the volatile nature of bitcoin will be in your favor because you were patient enough with the market.
It doesn't mean that long term kills the volatile nature of bitcoin, but it makes it more beneficial to you as the price of bitcoin increases overtime and your portfolio will be in profit in future despite the up and down movement of bitcoin price. For example, those investors that bought bitcoin at $67k in 2021 bull run. They will feel very bad in 2022 when bitcoin price dipped to $17k but as they continue buying and hodli till this current time, you will see that the price of bitcoin is above 100k in their favor. In the bear market of 2030, we might not see $65k price as the bottom line of the dip anymore. This means that in the year 2030 those who bought bitcoin at 65k will always be in profits no matter how dip the price of bitcoin goes.
If you really look at Bitcoin over the years, the volatility is something nobody can escape, but at the same time that is what makes long term holding worth it. Even people who bought at $67k back in 2021 probably felt like they made the worst decision when it dropped to $17k in 2022, but now they are already in profit again. That is just how Bitcoin moves, those dips look scary in the moment but later they turn into opportunities......Am probably sure that by the time we get to 2030, I doubt anyone will ever see $65k as a bad entry again because the bottom keeps shifting higher every cycle.
