I wondered how Arsenal dominated at Anfield during the first half, Liverpool scored luckily else Arsenal defense team was just too strong for Liverpool. Honestly I have not seen Arsenal top performance yet this current season, I also expected more although Arteta should know when to do some changes if possible the first players should be ready to withstand both first and second half not the usual match we watch always even with top new players. Liverpool at the other hand had no option rather they played really well along side the whole situation, how they handled Arsenal was impressive still Liverpool is the first club to score Arsenal ever when the new season started all thanks to the free kick played by Szoboszlai, what a brilliant shot.
Talking about this big match, I found it boring, especially the first half, which felt quite monotonous to me. Although it cannot be denied that this is a big match, I still expected more from a match between two big clubs like this, but this match felt like any other, even though it was quite eagerly awaited.
However, regardless of anything else, we all know that ultimately, it’s the three points that matter, and Liverpool managed to secure them once again, even though only one goal was scored in this match.
What I like about the EPL is the surprises that happen in the end, and this week there were some surprises that were quite entertaining for me, especially when I saw Brighton and West Ham, who had previously been in complete disarray, manage to surprise everyone by securing three points. Facing Manchester City with their dominance, Brighton was a surprise in itself for me, and West Ham, after two heavy defeats in the previous two weeks, looked like a completely different team in their match against Nottingham Forest.
