Paying with Bitcoin is just the same as paying with fiat money. And it was the same feeling online, like with GCash, Maya, etc. Feel no excitement about it. Paying with Bitcoin will soon be more widely adopted globally. It will give an option if all establishments accept it, just like accepting other online payment options. Your friend, OP, seems to be doing the best thing. It may not hit the people right away, but at least it is giving us a way to use our Bitcoin as a currency.
