In my opinion, with the signing of Alexander Isak, Liverpool can automatically talk a lot when competing in the Champions League this season. I think Liverpool truly deserves to be called one of the favorites to win the Champions League this season, especially considering the depth of their squad. Meanwhile, Newcastle has signed Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart as a replacement for Alexander Isak.
These two transfers just show how English teams are totally inflating the market because these transfer fees are ridiculous. Isak is a very good player, he's still relatively young, but 150 million euros is madness. If he was coming from an Italian, German or Spanish club probably he would have been paid way less than 100 million euros.
