Many people were shouting the Liverpool game against Arsenal because they seem to be the league's top teams this season. I expected it to be a battle where each team scored at least two goals, like they had in their previous two games. After the first half of the match, I noticed that both sides were not attacking in the way I was expecting them to, and I believed that there would be few goals in the match, I was even shocked that Liverpool was able to score one goal on a free kick.

I seriously didn't expect much from Arsenal against Liverpool yesterday but they took me by surprise. They played a very decent game in the first half but came out second half with the mindset to hold Liverpool for a goalless draw. Arsenal midfield set up was more of defensive than aggressive in terms of attacking. On the contrary, Liverpool took control of the game and were lucky with that free kick that made the difference between the duo yesterday.

There's a saying that "if you want to win big, you have to go for it" but Arterta tactics seems to be holding them back. Arsenal is gradually turning into a defense team instead of playing a dominating game they're usually known for. There's no way you could win a game when your team is busy defending throughout the game without creating a chance to score.
