I don't think anyone is promoting this site. Even if some people are hoping that the site will resume as trustworthy as it was before or if they had good memories with this site and they do not want to leave it or say bad words about it, in all these cases, I don't think anyone is doing it for monetary benefits.
They aren't running any promotion campaigns here on bitcointalk, why would anyone be promoting it ? Its just personal point of view of the writers here.
