Afghanistan will be playing against the UAE today. Both teams have lost to the Pakistan team and therefore today one of these teams will get a win in this tournament. Before the start of the tournament i was thinking that Afghanistan is a stronger team but in their first match they could only made 143 runs. United Arab Emirates batted much better and they made 176 runs in their first match.
So on paper, the Afghanistan team may be quite stronger but seeing the recent performances of both teams it will be hard to pick a team. Anyways, in this match, the United Arab Emirates will chase they target as they put the Afghanistan team in the batting. It will surely be an interesting match.
Afghanistan ended up making 188 runs, quite a reasonable good total and they can hope to defend it. There was some great batting and partnership Sediqullah Atal and Ibrahim Zadran and that helped the team to have a high run rate throughout the 20 overs. Seeing their batting strength in this match, Rahmanullah Gurbaz was out on 7 runs, but the rest of the players had a good time batting.
Now it is all up to the bowlers to win this game for them. Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Fazalhaq Farooqi have to get early wickets and put the pressure right from the beginning.
