The technology and the technical know how is another thing that baffles me. Selling the coin to someone you have not met and the person paying money to someone he too has not met in trust is another dimension of trust. In all Bitcoin is built on trust though ,there are those that will want to cheat.
You know little about how Bitcoin works, but at least you have a clue as to what you want. All you need now is to learn about it properly, at least the basic knowledge, so that you don't complicate things yourself. The Bitcoin network is an amazing development.

When you know your way around and how it works, you can easily and freely interact with it without any problem. When you talk about interacting and buying and selling bitcoin from one another, it's something of trust. At the same time, there is no trust again on the internet. Before you buy bitcoin from someone, you need something or someone to act like an escrow to make sure that you both are satisfied with each other and not one person scamming the other.
