What really makes a gambler lose? Is it greed? Well it is the illusion of control. Illusion of control leads to continued gambling and the more a gambler plays the more the casinos win, right? As a gambler, you should be able to identify these illusions so you can at least get a hold of yourself.

There are different reasons why we lose and it isn't just about being greedy, you can decide not to be greedy but you're still going through lose and that's not your fault but just how the game is. We see the signs of the illusion but we still continue somehow, we know we can't win but still we have a little bit more hope and continue to gamble. Victories aren't guaranteed in gambling but losses are a guaranteed because the chances of you losing is higher than that of you winning. The odds aren't on your side but on that of the platform you're using to gamble. Just don't take gambling too seriously because you're likely going to be disappointed if you do.

Loses are part of the game, but not everyone like to admit this. The painful truth is, the likelihood of wining is very low compared to loses, and just as you said the system was designed that way. It's better when you gamble with the knowledge loses than placing our gambling on fantasy of using gamble to build our dream life, if we can key in to gambling for entertainment we wouldn't have much to worry about when it comes to financial control and disciplines, but the problem is most gamblers see gambling as a source of making huge money from small bet, and that is why they risk all just to hit the jackpot someday.
