It seems Pep Guardiola has lost his magic touch. It was surprising to see Manchester City lose again, but I don't think this season marks the end of the Pep Guardiola era at the Etihad.
I watched that game live on TV set and could see the frustration on pep gardiola's face at the final whistle, was like the awful season is going to start again. If there should be a repetition of the poor campaign Pep had with Manchester city in the immediate previous season there's nothing that would be holding Pep down in Manchester city as it would be obvious to him that his era with the club is come to a close. I am assuming that his decision to extend his contract was to experiment how this season would be looking like for him in Etihad and if he fails to win the EPL trophy he's going to quit for sure.
Pep just didn't want to accept that he was leaving the club with such a bad season and I'm sure when he leaves he wants the club to be handed over to his successor in a good state but it looks like a big challenge. But if any coach can do it, it's Pep Guardiola and no one else. They absolutely need Donnarumma and only have until tomorrow to get him.
No person in his right thinking would curse Pep Guardiola should he had left Manchester city in the way it was last season. The man has written his name in gold with the club, winning the EPL in a row with City and not to mention the UCL he won for City. No coach is irreplaceable, it's just gonna be a matter of time at most. When klopp was leaving Liverpool for Arne slot it felt like Slot may be better able to handle the job from where Klopp left off but looks at Liverpool today.
Will Donnarumma coming to be a part of the team change much? Anyway, Enderson has gone to Fernebache and I hear that Donnarumma deal is already done for city. Let's see what that would make of city.
