Casinos are a multi-million dollar industry, just like console gaming. Just like the console wars a few years ago, there was complete exclusivity for some IPs, and this maintained a specific audience for each console, just like Mario and Nintendo. I wonder if this is just starting or if it was designed for online casinos.
I'm not talking about rehashing something that already exists; I'm talking about creating original games that grab users' attention and guarantee player loyalty.
Perhaps this is the future of casinos. Imagine having exclusivity for a specific game, and if it were successful, casinos would have a ton of customers almost guaranteed.
I dont know how profitable this would actually be...
Look, the most casinos dont developed a single exclusive game beacause Its much cheaper and faster for them integrate with platforms that already offer a wide range of oportunities than spend time and a lot of money to developing something of their own.
Its true that online casinos are very competitive, and have something "exclusive" could differentiate there to not only attract new players but also prevent them from leaving for other platforms because they wouldn't find that same game elsewhere.
The problem of that it is not cheap to develop something unique in design and programming, invest in marketing it to make it recognized and without being sure it will be well-received by players... its something only the biggest casinos can attempt.
