xxxxxxxx , there are those that will want to cheat.

Yes, it is true that cheaters are numerous in the system, as a matter of fact, they are everywhere, and this is all the more reason why you should take your assets and personal safety very seriously.

There have been lots of reported cases here, and also hacks that involved a huge amount of money from exchanges, all these attributed to hackers who are cheats of the system. For these reasons, we are advised to keep our assets under our own custodial wallets; hence, you hear the slogan "not your keys, not your coin."

The above slogan is a call to your consciousness that any asset under the custody of a third party, such as exchanges, where you do not have access to the private keys, but only the wallet address, doesn't belong to you, but the exchange, and this puts you under their conditions before you can access their platform and your coin. Therefore, it is wise to ensure that your coins and assets are always under your custody by keeping them in wallets where only you have access.

Nevertheless, I will also reiterate the need to always avoid clicking ads and links sent to you by unknown contacts, avoid downloading apps you have no knowledge about, and do not follow the crowd when you do not have prior knowledge and information about what they are downloading. Always make sure to verify sources of information before you delve into the information before acting upon it.
