Throughout the match, Afghanistan were looking keen to win the match and they batted with responsibility this time. Once they had 188 runs on board, it was an easy task for their bowlers to defend.
United Arab Emirates tried their best to come close to this target. At one stage when Muhammad Waseem and Rahul Chopra were batting, it seems that they maybe chase this target but once Muhammad Waseem out, there was wickets falling quickly and the UAE team felt apart.
Muhammad Waseem and Rahul Chopra did good effort but we didn't saw similar efforts from other batsmen. UAE is playing cricket for long time compared to Afghanistan but they are way behind Afghanistan in every aspect of the game. UAE must have learned cricket by now, I remember they played world cup 1996 when I was a child. ICC must realize that such teams that are composed of expats won’t excel in cricket, that’s why it’s important to prefer countries that are composed of local players.
