Absence of Aleksandar Mitrović is going to be quite devastating for the club. The combination of the two Serbians have worked wonders for them so far (Mitrović and Sergej Milinković-Savić). Now in attack, they need to depend on Darwin Núñez and Marcos Leonardo. Al Qadisiyah on the other hand has a full strength squad. They have Mateo Retegui and Julián Quiñones as the forwards, supported by Cameron Puertas and Christopher Bonsu Baah in the midfield. And they have a very good defense lineup as well.
Mitrovic was not a famous player but he played impressively for Al Hilal, together with rising reputation of Saudi Professional League, he has become more famous through his latest great performances for his club. His absence will surely be big minus for Al Hilal as it's not easy to replace a main goal scorer in any club. Darwin Nunez was bought to support Mitrovic and as a substitution for this striker only. Now Darwin will be a replacement for Mitrovic while his performances in two latest seasons for Liverpool are quite disspointed and not too high quality.
Al-Hilal failed to defend their crown last season and lost it to Al-Ittihad but in this season, they will be challenged by Al-Ittihad, Al-Nassr and also Al-Ahli. They must feel a lot of headache with Mitrovic absence that surely negatively affects their club performances in long term.
