With ethereum being the backbone of DeFi, NFTs and other countless Altcoin projects, if it happens to disappear tomorrow, which Altcoin do you think will take it's place? Or maybe no single altcoin can replace ethereum?
Do you think people will trust other altcoins if Ethereum vanishes? Ethereum is the gold standard; take that away, and you take out the trust in altcoins. There should be a good reason why it disappears, because if it happens to Ethereum, it could happen to any altcoin.
If the developers decided to shut it down voluntarily, then the next coin could be Solana, but I don't want to entertain the idea that Ethereum will vanish.
