Given Chelsea's current form, they have the potential to cause a surprise in the Champions League. They have the potential to compete with the big teams, especially if their young players can perform consistently and confidently.
Now, it’s up to Enzo to maximize Chelsea’s strengths and, most importantly, resolve their long-standing issue of inconsistency. If he can find the right formula to keep the team stable, Chelsea reaching the quarterfinals or perhaps even going further wouldn’t be out of the question.

Winning the Champions League is very random, not every club is capable of beating City, Liverpool and Chelsea in the playoffs almost every season like Real Madrid  Cheesy If you get this trio (or similar) in the draw, your chances are greatly reduced. It's a different matter if you get Benfica or another obviously weaker team (as always happens with City). In fact, the group stage means little now; odds can be calculated after the playoff bracket is formed.
