First ODI England vs South Africa

First ODI between England and South Africa will be very exciting match. England will play under new captain Harry Brook and with Jofra Archer back will be looking to start series strong on their home ground. South Africa is very confident at this time because they are coming with great momentum after recent series win against Australia. Historically this match is very competitive but England has better record against South Africa at home. Because of England home advantage and return of key players they are favorites to win but South Africa good recent form means it will be close and exciting game.

England weren't able to take nay home advantage. Infact they played so badly that they got all out at 131 runs. This is not even a good T20 score and they have made this in an ODI match. Only Jamie Smith made a 50+ runs in this innings and he looked confident but he can't do anything alone when rest of the batsmen didn't stayed on the wicket. The whole team was out under 25 overs and it was really a shameful performance by them today.

England had an disastrous innings against South African bowling. The start was not particularly bad with opener Jamie Smith making 54 out of 48. But their middle and lower order collapsed making very few runs. 6 of the batsmen failing to score a double digit run. Keshav Maharaj and Wiaan Mulder were particularly destructive taking 4 and 3 wickets respectively.
South Africa chasing a small target of 132 started aggressive. Aiden Markram making 86 out of 55 balls. And even though his wicket made the run rate slower, They were already too close to win and won it at a loss of 3 wickets in first ball of 21st over.
