I didn't make a cash bet on this game but I believed the bookmakers in their predictions and indicated that Aston Villa would win. It's hard to believe that the fairy tale for Crystal Palace would continue for so long and it was even more difficult to assume that the victory would be so confident. Frankly speaking, the table's basement looks anomalous at the moment - Newcastle, Fulham, Aston Villa and Wolves are up for relegation. I would say that we are used to seeing these teams much higher.
Crystal Palace is a team that we should look out for this season. They can pull some big surprises that one wouldn't expect. From the way that they started this season, they have been playing impressively and winning unexpectedly. I didn't underestimate Crystal Palace in that match because I know that they're in form, but not which such humiliation on Aston Villa.
