Since the summer window is already closed. I'm trying to make a small recap. Chelsea is becoming a club with most of sales in this window. They recorded €342m alone, which is breaking their previous record around €240m - €250m range. Almost €600m generated by just in a short time. They're crazy in player business, and they should get an aware to be the best salesman now. Bournemouth and Leverkusen are following Chelsea at the 2nd and 3rd. No doubt they generated so much money as they get rid almost all of their key players. Meanwhile, Liverpool is at the 4th with €220m generated from their sales. That's big, but they still suffer huge deficit since they spent far bigger than it in this summer window.

My impression for this smmer window is "IMPRESSIVE!"

When Chelsea house so many players, people tend to ask why they keep so many players, I guess it is clear now that they’re keeping so many players, including one of the largest academic players to be put up for sale. Chelsea have had a lot of great players that graduated from their academy and are now big names in other clubs. The business of football has really favoured them and despite their purchase in the transfer window, they’ve still been able to make this much inflow from sale of players.

I really commend Chelsea team because with their squad depth now, they’re one of the top teams to be able to stand a chance for the premier league title including the champions league title. I thought I was going to see Dortmund in the list, but it seems they were not able to grow much big players last season to be put up for sale this season. I’m not surprised to see Bayern Leverkusen in this list, they have sold almost all of their big players.

I like Chelsea’s mentality, not just to be a selling club to make profits by players sale, they also have the winning mentality. I’m not sure most clubs will be able to go through the phase Chelsea went through in the past 3- 4 seasons and still manage to be this successful not just in terms of the profit in players sale but also they were able to win some major trophies including the recently concluded FIFA club World Cup, the UEFA conference league and secured a top four finish in the premier league which means they will be back playing the UEFA champions league. This is a Chelsea team that’s undergoing a rebuild from a new owner. Almost all the entire squad was changed, the management and staffs are new, they bring in new players to the team, a very young squad but talented with little experience but they have managed to turn things around within a couple of 2-3 seasons and are now regarded as one of the team challenging for the premier league title this season, and also amongst the favorites to go far in the champions league this season also. I think clubs like Manchester United can rebuild this same way that Chelsea is doing and get back to where the club used to be.
