I think Braga indeed has potential, but they still need to develop a lot in the future and shouldn't often play for draws, even though their performance is quite solid. If not, Gil Vicente will be the team that chases them. Mentality is very important. Watching Porto this season, it is clear that they perform very solidly and do not rely solely on one or two stars, their collective play is what drives their consistent results. The match yesterday against Sporting was a strong statement that they are not just 'title contenders', but truly main competitors, and they are very likely to lift the trophy this season.
I think the same way. They need to start winning. I know they have the potential, but something's missing that's preventing them from making that turnaround and winning. Maybe an extra incentive from the coaching staff.
Braga is not doing bad as the season is just beginning. Apart from Porto that has 4 wins in the 4 games and Benfica with 3 wins in their 3 games, every other team has dropped points and Braga had 2 wins and 2 draws so far. What I think is that, just like every team now is reshaping their team and test-running their new arrivals, they too are getting through theirs. Even though I know that it might be difficult to secure the top 4 but the 4th position could be theirs if they improve in their next games.
