Ayy I don't really care for Asia cup, but looking at this competition I might give 2 shits about it. Count me in.

Still, the fact 'past records got nothing to do with future performance' is very true especially for T20 format. If my memory serves me better, India was not preforming well in 2021 T20 world cup in UAE. (India lost against Pakistan and New Zealand and failed to qualify for semi final).
I expect few surprises from Afghanistan and Bangladesh just because of T20 format.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka got all the talents to surprise the top ranked India.
