It seems Pep Guardiola has lost his magic touch. It was surprising to see Manchester City lose again, but I don't think this season marks the end of the Pep Guardiola era at the Etihad.
Liverpool were almost held to a draw by Arsenal, but Arne Slot side were a bit luckier, with Szoboszlai stunning goal securing the three points.
Meanwhile, Chelsea appear to be back on track, continuing their positive run and keeping close tabs on Liverpool at the top of the table.
Honestly, the most interesting thing for me this third week was Manchester United win, Ruben Amorim squad finally got their first full points. I think the win will ease some of the pressure on Ruben Amorim.
No one knows if this season could be the end of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, but if he doesn't improve the performance of Manchester City this season, I am 90% certain he will take a break from football. I even thought Liverpool and Arsenal would end in a draw since they played upto 82nd minutes without scoring a goal, but Szoboszlai lucky free kick separated Liverpool and Arsenal, and it was enough to earn Liverpool the three points.
With the way the game was going it was obvious it was heading to a draw because both sides concentrated mainly on defending rather than scoring, if not for Szoboslai’s free kick towards the end of the match I’m sure there was no other good chances created for goal, Liverpool was just lucky in the end to get the win.
