The beginning of a new trend

Who has noticed that of recent there is a lot of disagreement between players and their clubs. It is either from the player side or from the club side but the level of disagreement and the collapse of transfer deals has increased this season. I cannot mention them all but you will see a player who still has up to three seasons with his club will outrightly tell the club that he wants to leave and if the club refuses to let him go he will exempt himself from the team.

We have also seen players have good offers but the club will deliberately raise the price to hinder the player from making such a move. I think things are seriously changing and this will bring in many clauses in transfer businesses. Do you think that this is the beginning of a new trend?
There's no player can be bigger than the team, that's the thing every players should know.

With social medias, players who have a lot followers will feel themselves are bigger than the team, hence they're more rebellious than the old generation. I think it's okay for the player who want to do like that, but they should know if the final decision ends on the team, not them.

However this could affect their mental, when they're forced to play with their current team, they might play without any motivation.
Very correct.
  • Some players feel they are bigger than the club and because of fame, they decide to disrespect the club that gave them the platform, example of this scenario is Isak and Newcastle.
  • Sometimes it is the club that wants to frustrate the player, example of this is Osimhen and Napoli
  • About the drama affecting the players mental health, it would have happened if Chelsea succeeded in returning Jackson. Jackson would have been totally unproductive in Chelsea because he is such an emotional player.
