Nevertheless, it must be appreciated that Lyon has started the season with an impressive performance, where they have been consistent and secured full points in three consecutive matches. Meanwhile, Marseille is experiencing the opposite situation, De Zerbi team seems to be struggling for consistency. Lyon looks set to finish in second place this season, replacing Marseille.
