Last season, Inter Milan went as far as to the finals only to lose the finals to PSG, so this season may not be that hard for all Italian teams not to make it that far in the Champions League. Napoli have shows a great performance during their league games, I have some hopes in them that they will do well in the champions league better than they did last season. There opponent may be a tough one but I still see them as worthy teams to go far in this competition and won’t be eliminated from the first stage of the competition which is the group stage. I know we will have at least two Italian teams that will make it past the group stage and show a great performance in this competition.
I think it's better not to have any expectation from Inter Milan because they are far from their best after their game against Barcelona, they were trash in the Champions League and then fumble the league, and this season they are are still far from their best.
I can only rate Napoli at the moment as the most outstanding team looking at their consistency and squad depth. They can dob well in the Champions league this season while another team might just do more outstanding but I doubt any can make it to the final.
I'm not entirely sure that Chivu will be able to perform better than Simone Inzaghi, but in any case, Inter Milan deserves respect, as in the last eight seasons, they are the only Serie A representative that has managed to reach the Champions League final.
Napoli might be more dependable this season than Inter Milan, considering they have built a strong squad depth and also have an experienced manager in the Champions League. Meanwhile, to reach the final, I think they will need a lot of luck. PSG as the defending champion, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool have a higher chance of reaching the final this season.
I also don't see Napoli winning the champions League title this season yes they are very informed and has good players and a very experience and tactic manager however if they really want to win the champions League title they really need to work more hard because they have competitors just like you mission PSG, Real Madrid Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Liverpool but you forgot to mention Arsenal even Atletico Madrid, these teams are very informed and for me they are more informed than Napoli, but I cannot also underestimate Napoli because football is very political no one believed PSG we win the champions League last season but at the end they won it, so in the this season the club that may win the champions League title may also surprise us.
However for me the club I believe may lift the champions League title this season is Barcelona but if they cannot win it then it should be Real Madrid these two club I believe one of them will win the champions League title this season as for Liverpool it will take the grace of God for them to win it.
