This could turn into a big story…
Kawhi Leonard reportedly signed a $28M endorsement with a fraudulent tree-planting company, funded by Clippers owner Steve Ballmer "to circumvent the salary cap rules.”
If this is true it could mean big fines for the Clippers, possible removal of ownership from Ballmer, and maybe even a significant suspension for Leonard. Now we know why he chose the Clippers over the Lakers…
Damn, what worst could happen, I do hope it will turn out to be just kind of mistake because that's a huge blow for Leonard's career imo. That's a dumb move for the Clippers organization and Leonard's management, they could have better answer in it.
PJ Washington got a bag to stay with the Dallas Mavericks. He got himself a 4-year $90 million deal. Good for him. I guess as far as contracts go these days this one isn’t too bad, but we won’t be seeing him make any all star teams anytime soon. Crazy that he can get $22M and Westbrook can’t get $3M.
Washington was lethal during the playoffs, and I think giving him that contract was the right move. He deserves it as he’s a hard worker on the court, reliable with his 3-point shooting, and most importantly, solid on defense.
Now with Dallas adding the No. 1 pick, their defense should get even stronger. They’re looking like a real threat this season, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up winning a chip.
Yeah, I definitely have him the props for reaching the 2024 Finals, he's making it on all end of the floors may it be offense or defense a definitely a good deal indeed and he deserves it. Not sure with winning a chip, Flagg is still not ripe imo he probably need more years before that, could be mind blowing if he did make it in his rookie years.
