Even with that change and reduction in transaction fees, Tron is still expensive when it comes to smart contract interactions and when sending stablecoins. I have some TRX and USDT on TronLink and while it's true that they are now cheaper to move, the transaction will still cost over $2. I checked it last night. Other blockchains offer the same but for cheaper.
I learnt the hard way when it came to Tron based transactions.. you find that you withdraw say $100 from a gambling platform,only for you to receive less funds than expected and if you are using a third party platform that says if you send anything less than x amount then you lose your coins and this has happened several times to me, so I resolved to not using this coin any more... BNB, polygon and others are my favourites.
