Unfortunately, Inter Milan couldn't score a single goal against PSG, even though many Inter Milan fans were hoping for a goal in that match.
However, this season, I also see several Serie A teams advancing to the round of 16 or beyond. Of course, we don't know which teams will advance. Do you mean to say that last season Inter Milan were extraordinary stupid? sorry to use that word but that's the best I can think of right now concerning them anytime I think of or remembered what they did last season. Inter Milan were one the verge of winning three trophies last season until they prioritised one above all else and that caused their downfall. Because they wanted to win the Champions League, they were busy reserving players that was supposed to play and win games just because they were preparing to play Barcelona weeks ahead of schedule. In the process they lost the top spot on the league, lost to AC Milan in the cup match and even though they managed to eliminate Barcelona, they still lost the finals to PSG.
