The transfer window was also about to close for Serie A teams so that must be why Atalanta wasn't also keen on letting him go. They wouldn't have been able to find a replacement while there were only hours left...
Staying at Atalanta is still not good for him in the long term though. I don't believe in Juric at all.
I would say that Ademola Lookman has literally been unlucky with the transfer window this summer because first he was linked to Inter Milan, then Spurs, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and no one was successful. Staying at Atalanta is the only option at this moment and I doubt if he will be happy playing for the club for the rest of the period.
I wouldn't say that Ademola Lookman was unlucky to secure a move out of Atalanta this season because he has a lot of offers from different clubs in different top European leagues but since Atalanta doesn't want Ademola Lookman to leave yet, they made Ademola Lookman's transfer deal difficult for all the clubs that wanted to sign him so that Ademola Lookman would remain with them, which they have finally achieved. I blame Atalanta for Ademola Lookman not joining another club this season.
