Arsenal loss to Liverpool at the early stage of the season should not be used to judge arsenal’s performance or title race this season because everyone knows that Liverpool has a very strong squad currently and this is just the start of the season, we don not know what will happen mid season in terms of injuries and other factors that might make their squad lose it form.
Arsenal performed well in their first two matches and their starting games were against some big teams in the league, so when they start playing against mediocre teams mid season they can accumulate more points and teams that are currently playing against mediocre team will find it difficult mid season playing against top teams.
As a matter of fact Arsenal tried holding Liverpool for that long, we all can agree Liverpool playing ever when the season started they’ve not gotten a hard match like this not until they played against Arsenal. One thing about Arsenal the defense system is very tight, Liverpool tried penetrating for a goal but could not, they gave Liverpool a tough time at Anfield no doubt not until a lucky goal. This post is not about bragging definitely Arsenal failed and they need to improve if they really want a title obviously many have started losing hope saying Arsenal can’t win the title when the season is still so early, I can’t judge currently base on the injury cases team players are already getting affected.
Judging Arsenal this early will still make them regret later in the season, because it’s not all about losing the game. If you see the performance that Arsenal played in that game, you will confirm that they are also strong and creative this season. For me, I still have hope in Arsenal, and the mid-season and end of the season will determine who will be the winner of the title.
Because if Arsenal’s defense was not good, then the game wouldn’t have ended with that result. So, to me, I know Arsenal will do better. They just need more time to prove themselves.
