Hey all, I have some bunch of questions with regards to slots. I have been thinking about it, so let's answer the much we can and have a good discussion on them. Here they are :
- Do online casinos upgrade existing slot games with new characters, graphics, and features? or is it more common for them to discard older games and launch entirely new titles?
- Do upgrades to familiar games affect player loyalty compared to introducing a brand-new game?
- Also, are upgrades restricted by the original game’s software architecture or licensing agreements with developers?
- Think about this for a minute, which is more cost-effective. Is it enhancing existing games or developing new ones from scratch?
I think all major casinos have providers who offer them linking of all their slot machines or if the casino wants they only link specific slots from that provider. The casinos do that also with providers, they have an API to integrate the slots from the providers they want it to run. In many casinos I have seen that Play n Go provider is not available so I assume two things here, either they are very expensive as a provider or their games are not that much liked by players. Anyway this has been the implementation for major casinos and if you see their originals, slot machines they create themselves you can rest assures their graphics really suck.
