Even for those who are gambling for fun, they also need to take a break. It's not as if gambling is the only thing that could be done for fun; they can also focus on other things because the more time they are spending on gambling, the more they will also spend much more money as payment for that fun, and there is also how they will spend too much time doing one particular thing, and the thing will later turn out to be boring, or something else will start keeping them from continuing to play and not be fun again.

You are correct, taking a temporary break from gambling is not just for some group of gamblers but for every kind of gamblers, both the people that are betting for fun or for profit unless it's a gambler like me who does not gamble every day but my pattern is just on occasional basis. I can stay away from gambling for more than a week and still not even have time to gamble when I want to. That's an unplanned break which is very comfortable for me.
