Taking advantage of the break for international matches, when looking at the league table, do you see anything surprising?

Liverpool seems to be following the same rhythm as last season.
Man City seems to be experiencing the same instability they displayed last season.
Things continue to be tough for Man United, having won, lost, and drawn. Perhaps they'll improve?
Arsenal remains the same as ever, beating everyone except those ahead of them in the league table.
On the other hand, Chelsea seems to be in much better shape than last season. Winning the Club World Cup must have motivated them.

Not really, the only surprising thing I notice is Manchester City at 13th position,Sunderland at 5th position, Aston villa and Newcastle United at 19th and 17th position respectively but I know that is for now and after the next three games there will be a shift in position from bottom upwards.
