How many of us remembers this legendary player Robinho, the Brazilian star who once played for AC Milan! His now serving a jail term in his country Brazil after been found guilty of a crime he once committed while still playing for the Italian giant club AC Milan. CNN Brazil says his now a coach in prison and his currently managing a team in the internal tournament organised by the penitentiary.
Interesting timeline: the crime was committed in 2013. The verdict was announced in 2017. In 2022, the verdict was finally upheld after all appeals. In 2024, Italy and Brazil agreed that he would sit in a Brazilian prison, since Brazil does not extradite its citizens to other countries. And he will sit in prison for 9 years, i.e. he will be released in 2033.
I don’t even know what would be better - to serve sentence right away or to delay everything for 10 years.
