Both greed and the illusion of control can make gamblers lose. Gambling is designed to favour the house in the long run, this is how the system is programmed. It's okay to have certain strategies but it's delusional to think that this is a guaranteed way that you can keep winning. Most people think they have a control over certain games especially when they are skilled based but this is actually a trap
Don't play against the house then and your strategies have a bigger likelihood of creating wins in the long term, assuming that they are good strategies. At the end of the day greed is the main driver of casinos and gamblers.
