That was precisely last season, Olympique Marseille seemed like the team that could challenge PSG for the ligue 1 title, they had some wonderful players in their squad and they did wonderfully well in the First half of that particular season which made them one of the favourites to lift the trophy but at the long run everything went bad when they started losing important games week after week, and numerous draws thereby giving PSG the opportunity to continue to dominate the league as usual, the rest is history.
Last season Olympique Marseille did started off so brilliantly that I was amongst the persons who taught for once PSG may likely not win the Ligue 1 title last season because Marseille was pretty much ready to challenge them enough to distort their chances but it got surprising how Marseille did not finish at the second position. Let us see what they have got for this season.
Olympique Marseille played very well that last season but they couldn't finish like that due to their little resources, PSG is kind of a strong team in the French league which I don't see anything that will start a chance to challenge them because they have money and when money is there everything becomes easy, PSG always stand a chance to win because they have quality players and also their second 11 are also fantastic this is what some of the teams lack and that's why they cannot even compete to the end because the pressure is to high and sub some time always brings destruction.
Olympique Marseille are still sleeping with the way they started this season, this is not encouraging but I understand they will have to do something before the international break ends.
