Antony found a place and opportunity at Betis. His performance is indeed different than when he was at United. It could be due to the different team situation or the different competition.
Hopefully, his performance can improve this season. Because last season he performed quite well with Betis, with 17 matches, 5 goals, and 2 assists. A result he could not achieve when he was at United.
What Betis is doing is certainly a good thing, as Antony has now been signed with a contract until 2030. I also see Antony as a perfect fit for Betis, as he will undoubtedly strive to perform better this season. His presence will undoubtedly improve Betis' performance.
At Manchester United, Antony didn't seem to be performing well, but I don't know what happened, but it certainly seems like he wasn't comfortable at Manchester United, and that seems to have impacted his performance. In this case, I think Manchester United was wise in selling Antony to Betis, as he's a perfect fit for Betis, as the atmosphere in the Premier League is certainly different from La Liga.
