The situation is different in every country. In my country, we often switch from one job to another because we want to earn a better salary and receive better treatment. I think that the elder generation is less risky and loves comfort but at the same time, I understand this because they depend on themselves, so if they risk, they have too much to lose while the young generation lives mostly for free in their parents house, sometimes they even receive money from their parents, even when they work and earn their salary, so these youngsters can easily risk because they have their back strengthened by their family.
Btw I also notice that the young generation mostly focuses on their looks, clothes and gadgets, while the older generation focuses more on the strength of the family and doesn't prioritise individual needs.
That is what the older generation always says. You think your parents and their friends didn't say the exact same thing about you and your friends? This is why never judge the newer generation, because you look at kids, and you look at culture, and things are always different.
You caught me but not really. The elder generation (grandparents) don't say anything bad about their sons and daughters (current parents) but both, grandparents and parents say bad things to the newer generation. Btw I clearly see that our generation is more lazy than the elder generation but at the same time, it's very hard for us to get a job with normal pay, so this kills motivation.
So when you end up with 30+ more years, you will realize they are just like you right now. Like there are 20 year old kids that I look at, and do not understand what they are doing, but in their core, they are all humans, so in 20 years, they will be exactly like me, maybe using AI or something, like life may change, but still normal human like all of us. They are not weird, or care about their clothes, or anything, they are just 2 0year olds, your 20 and their 20 will of course be different. When I was 20, they weren't even born.
I realise that myself already. I understand that there is a difference beween generations and it's normal, so to my mind, if the young generation is different from us, that doesn't mean that they are bad, it means that they grew differently and have a different vision or lifestyle. I'll never say bad thing about the younger generation the way older generation talks about us.
