Arne Slot may have spent the most funds in the transfer window this summer but already has something worth considering even if he fails to win the league title this season but we can’t say same for Mikel Arteta that has been at the club for 5 years plus and is yet to win a silverware for the club.
Yes that’s true because Arne Slot met an already established team consisting of experienced players, while Arteta has to build his own team from the scratch. That should not be an excuse for Arteta I must say because he have all the opportunities to win the title last season, but unluckily, injuries affected the team that is why the management under Andre Beta decided to strengthen the squad more so that injury should not be the reason they will complain again.
If Arteta didn’t win any important title this season, then he should be sacked because he have all the players he wanted to win the EPL and even the Champions League for the team.
Liverpool has indeed spent a lot of money to sign some players, but I didn’t see them given attention to their defense, but I still believe the team will do very well this season; they might win the EPL again this season but I am given it to Arsenal despite the fact that they lost to Liverpool in their last match.
