Pegula have just won the first set against Sabalenka, I really hope she'll be able to hold her nerves and see out the job with a win, it's still going to be tough game, Sabalenka haven't played entirely bad, it's just Pegula who have been superb in that first set.
I just checked the result and I see Sabalenka is leading 3-0 in the second set. The match will probably go to the third set.

Sabalenka won the third set 6-4 and advanced to the final.
Pegula looked like she lack confidence after she broken in her first service game both in the 2nd and 3rd sets, she had numerous opportunities to break back in that 3rd set but she just couldn’t capitalize. I doubt there is anyone stopping Sabalenka now in the finals.
Good thing for me, even if Sabalenka does win in the finals, I got the Paraguay vs Ecuador draw correctly, so that should make up for that.
